‘The X Factor’ UK results: Was Emily Middlemas, Honey G, or Ryan Lawrie eliminated?
So far this season, “The X Factor” has developed a tendency to really make people angry. After all, we’ve seen people like Honey G advance, while we’ve lost such capable performers as Relley C and Sam Lavery in shocking fashion.
Going into this show, our feeling was that Ryan Lawrie would be leaving the show, mostly because there’s not a lot of room for him to hide. He and Saara Aalto are the only people left with multiple appearances in the bottom, and if the two end up there tonight, we’ve got a feeling that we’re going to be seeing Saara make it through to the next round — or at least we hope so, given that it’d be all shorts of shocking and sad to see her leave in this way.
Things got rather interesting, though, when Saara was declared safe! While that wasn’t necessarily a guarantee that she was in the top 3 on the night, it at least meant that she wasn’t in the bottom two. Instead, the three acts in danger were Honey G (surprised?), Ryan Lawrie, and Emily Middlemas. We do still think it’d be extremely cruel if the real-life couple in Ryan and Emily were forced to sing for their life in the competition.
Sing-Off – It’s Ryan versus Honey G! Ryan can slay the dragon! We were genuinely invested in him moving forward just to ensure that we didn’t have to endure the madness any longer. Unfortunately, we don’t exactly think Ryan killed this performance in the slightest. However, Honey G was almost cringe-worthy in this environment.
We thought that the moment Honey G made it to the bottom two she’d be sent home immediately, but alas, that wasn’t the case! Ryan apparently was so distasteful to the judges that they’d rather put up with Honey G for at least one more week. Ugh.

SO wanted Honey G gone. At this point I won’t be surprised if she wins the whole thing.
(After all, it’s that kind of year!)

Her being in the bottom is encouraging that she won’t — before that, though, I will say that I thought that there could be so many people voting for her out of spite that she could take it!
