‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 7 spoilers: On … JFK conspiracy theories?
There are many stories that we anticipate “Hawaii Five-0” season 7 tackling over the course of the season, but we gotta say, many months ago we didn’t expect that the show would ever be giving us a story about the assassination of John F. Kennedy conspiracies in 2016. Then again, maybe this is the perfect time for it given that we are in an era where conspiracies do tend to run fairly rampant.
Without further ado, let’s go ahead and get into some details regarding the upcoming November 18 episode entitled “Elua lā ma Nowemapa,” otherwise known as “Two Days in November.” (If nothing else, at least the title is a nice reference to the time in which the show is airing!)
As for what you can expect to see within this particular story, a conspiracy theorist is going to come up with some shocking and compelling evidence that someone from within the Kennedy cabinet actually ordered the assassination. Given that this is the team’s job to look into mysteries, they are going to do so over the course of the episode. While the death of a President of course is a grave tragedy to be taken seriously, this happened so long ago that it gives the show a little bit of distance and can have a little more fun with this story, almost in a “National Treasure” sort of sense.
Unfortunately, there isn’t too much in the way of further details about this episode right now, but we do really hope that this is an episode that really offers up some opportunities to think and debate about the evidence. Sometimes these days, we do think that crime / mystery shows have marginalized the whodunnit part of the equation. We’d love to see that back in a big way and with a greater emphasis.
