‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 13, episode 6 sneak peeks: Amelia changes course; Leah’s return
There’s another new episode of “Grey’s Anatomy” airing on ABC Thursday night, and this one’s going to be ripe with tension all across the board! You see it in both of the sneak peeks below, which help to make it all the clearer that nothing in the world of the Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital stays constant for long.
1. Amelia changes course – A mere matter of one week removed from wanting to try for kids, she’s now telling Owen that she doesn’t want to rush to have them anymore. What’s the reasoning behind this? If we had to guess, we’d say that fear is a pretty powerful motivating factor at the top of her mind. She obviously felt rather heartbroken over thinking that she was pregnant only to learn otherwise, and she may be trying to push away that sort of sadness. Who could really blame her if that was the case?
While we do want to think that these two will try to have a family again soon enough (we know that Owen wants kids), they may need to offer up some more reassurances to one another in order to make that happen.
2. Leah’s return – We’ve known for a while now that Tessa Ferrer would be coming back to the show as Dr. Leah Murphy, and based on the contents of this particular preview, not everyone is going to be happy to see her — and we do understand why. She’s got a romantic history with many of these characters, and they are right to think that having her back would be awkward. Then again, we don’t really have any sympathy on any of these characters, given that their problems are for the most part their own doing.
