‘Scorpion’ season 3 video: Paige and Tim have a surprise visitor

We’ve got one more sneak peek to share now for Monday night’s season premiere of “Scorpion,” and this one is very much entertaining — even if a part of that comes out of a sort of secondhand embarrassment for Walter O’Brien.

In this video, Elyes Gabel’s character is forced to get aboard a flight from Tahoe to Los Angeles, even though the last thing he wants to do is let Paige and Tim know that he is up there with them. He went up in order to confess his true feelings for her, but as the other sneak peek shared recently gives away, he sees her kiss her new boyfriend before he has an opportunity to swoop in there and make any sort of move. We feel for the guy, and unfortunately after seeing this he got the call from Cabe that there was an urgent mission that required him back immediately — with the same going for Paige and her guy.

By the end of this preview, Walter is forced to conjure up some sort of quick / terrible excuse for what went down — and he cites jazz music as the reason. Paige is a smart person, so we do wonder if she is going to consider buying this. If she doesn’t, then we could be in for a rather interesting batch of episodes to come!
