‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 8, episode 3 video: Sam and Callen’s shorthanded investigation

There is a new episode of “NCIS: Los Angeles” coming to CBS on Sunday night, and in the aftermath of what happened to Kensi in the two-part premiere and with Hetty in Washington, one thing feels fair to say: This team has got their work cut out for them.

Yet, there is still a job to do, and this is going to send Sam and Callen out into the field once more! The first sneak peek below features them doing a little bit of investigating, and doing just about everything that they can in order to ensure that they get some answers. Ultimately, we’re not sure that they get too much out of this — other than learning about a cleaning lady who really doesn’t seem to do that much cleaning.

As for the second sneak peek, we consider this one to be for the most part a bit of fun in how we’re seeing Nell really do her best to kick butt and take names alongside Deeks. Hopefully, we are going to see more of her in the immediate future while Kensi is away.

Hopefully, this episode gives you enough payoff in one way or another that you feel tied over until the show returns on October 16. These Sunday-night hiatuses can be frustrating, but at least we’ll have three episodes in the can before we get around to that.
