‘Big Brother 18’ live review: Was Paul or Victor evicted; who’s the new HoH?
Tonight on “Big Brother 18,” we had a “surprise” eviction, otherwise known as that one show that we know is coming every year and some of the die-hard fans in the house do as well. Granted, Nicole is really the one person left who actually fits that designation.
While we could go on and on about the false advertising here, there’s no point. We’re going to review this live just as we would any other eviction show that airs on a Thursday night.
Power of Veto – After seeing an edited package about Victor being angry over the nominations (he actually took it better after this conversation on the feeds), we went into a pretty inspired version of BB Comics. Glenn as Doctor Groom was tremendous; Big Meech, however, was a little much.
Derrick shows up – Meh. Don’t get us wrong, Derrick’s a great player; yet, he’s been so present elsewhere during the season that having him make an on-air appearance doesn’t really matter all that much to us.
Veto Ceremony – Hey, Nicole didn’t use it! Can you blame her? We love Victor, but he is far and away the right person to take out at this point since he’s an enormous threat to win the game at the end.
Eviction – Victor is gone, but before that Paul’s speech was amazing since he completely roasted all of the houseguests including James and Nicole. He knows he’s toast unless he wins competitions, so that is really all that matters.
Head of Household – Paul defeated Nicole in the tiebreaker question: Friendship for all! This is the best thing for drama since it saves us from a potentially boring show on this coming episode. More than likely, Nicole and Corey are going to be the two people going up on the block.
