‘Fuller House’ season 2 could feature New Kids on the Block
Just in case you weren’t getting enough nostalgia out of “Fuller House” on its own, go ahead and now add this to the equation: It’s looking as though the New Kids on the Block could be making an appearance. From here, feel free to make all of the puns that you want about them having “The Right Stuff” to appear.
According to TV Guide, the season 2 cameo from the famed boy-band could come when Stephanie Tanner and Kimmy Gibbler mess up a certain DJ’s birthday plans, and in turn they try to recruit a little bit of help. This is where the group could come into play. They are DJ’s favorite band, so seeing them around would bring a smile to her face and send a tidal wave of nostalgia crashing from sea to sea … or at least for the folks out there who have Netflix.
Given that independent ratings estimates for “Fuller House” suggest that season 1 was an enormous ratings success of the streaming service, in some ways we’re almost surprised that there have not been many other cameos announced to date. If we were someone, anyone, with significant ties to either the original “Full House” or the time period in which it was on, we’d be sending resumes, making phone calls, or doing anything that we could to get on the show.
There’s no official premiere date for “Fuller House” just yet, but we’re sure that when there is there will be an avalanche of updates all about it! We’ll be the one snowboarding down all of them to give you the most precise scoop possible, and hopefully some sort of teaser to go along with it.
