‘Ballers’ season 2, episode 2 video: All the Dwayne Johnson – Vin Diesel jokes you could ever want

There are several different storylines unfolding at the moment on “Ballers” season 2, whether it be Spencer Strasmore’s new business rival Andre, Ricky Jerret facing an uncertain career with the Miami Dolphins, and even the continuing journey of Charles Greene out of retirement and on to the field.

Yet, we’re still finding ourselves mostly preoccupied with the Dwayne Johnson – Vin Diesel gag in the promo below. The funny thing is that other than the two of them being buff and bald, there’s really not that many physical similarities. Given that the two guys know each other and have a good rapport, we’ve got a pretty good feeling that Vin won’t mind the digs and he’ll take them perfectly in stride.

As for the other highlights of the promo below, one of the more notable ones is Ricky continuing to question his future after learning that his teammate has a new contract … one made up with money that could have actually gone to him instead. Don’t you think there could be some awkwardness there?

Meanwhile, be prepared to see the battle between Spencer and Andre heat up over some clients, mostly given the fact that the two are both trying to be sharks in a relatively-small pond. There is not much room for error, and while this sort of competition could make Johnson’s character better at his job in the end, at the same exact time he will have to contend for a while with just trying to stay afloat. That may eventually prove itself to be no easy task.
