‘Mr. Robot’ season 2 spoilers: Expect more Elliot struggles, a trip overseas
Can Elliot get away? Like many with demons, this is the struggle he faces on “Mr. Robot.” What makes him different than many other TV characters is that his demon is not a drug addiction, or something seemingly brought on just by himself. His mental health was in question from the beginning of the series, and he doesn’t seem to be at peace any more now just because he is aware of who Mr. Robot really is in his head.
Over the next couple of episodes we’d like to imagine that things start to get better for him, but that doesn’t quite align with the information we are seeing. For more on that, take a look at the synopsis below for “eps2.3_logic-b0mb.hc,” which is going to be the next new installment airing on USA:
“elliot cant quit the game but tbh it proves bigger than expected. dom and fbi go to china to investigate five/nine. joanna is haunted– or hunted? darlene calls on angela for help.”
The story of Dom a.k.a. Dominique (Grace Gummer) is going to be one of the more interesting new components to the show this season, largely because we didn’t get too much of a law-enforcement perspective the first go-around. What the challenge is here is to find a way to make this character relatable and interesting in an era where watching the “good guys” is viewed almost as something better suited for CBS procedurals than something edge on basic cable. Other shows have tried to showcase the battle against cyber-crime, but it is hard to say that any of them have gotten it 120% correct.
