‘Suits’ season 6 spoilers: An upcoming story tease
The sixth season of “Suits” is coming up Wednesday, and there are two things specifically that have been hyped more than any other. First, there is the arrest of Mike Ross, and the time that he is spending in jail. Then, there is also the ghost town that is Pearson Specter Litt.
Based on the new information that is out there courtesy of USA, it’s pretty darn clear that both are going to be components of at least the first few episodes of the show. What we’ve got below are the details from “Back on the Map,” which is the June 27 installment. The synopsis below, meanwhile, offers up a few more teases:
“Mike tries to stay safe without violating Danbury’s unwritten rules. Jessica and Harvey try to land a whale. Louis searches for an office tenant. And Rachel goes up against a fellow student.”
We would not say that the writers are going in a shocking direction here. Jessica and Harvey need to start making up big pickups in the event they want to turn Pearson Specter Litt into the titan that it once was, so going after huge clients is the way to do that. Meanwhile, Mike’s story of survival in prison is something that has been played in countless mediums. What makes it different here is mostly that it is Mike, someone who is incredibly resourceful, but at the same time is in probably one of the most harshest situations he’s seen. Many of the other inmates at Danbury are hustlers in their own right who have scammed the system in even worse ways.
