‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 7, episode 4 video: Toby looks into Dr. Rollins

Everyone within the world of “Pretty Little Liars” tries to go about things in their own way. For the Liars, that sometimes means being on the ground and doing things that are certainly within a moral gray area. Meanwhile, for the police, this means continuing to use their resources and staying by the book.

The sneak peek below is entirely based on Toby, who is clearly working overtime to answer one key question: Who is Dr. Elliot Rollins? He is going through research to see if he can find out if all of his story his straight. Maybe there are some warnings signs, but at the end of this preview, nothing is altogether clear other than some possible relationship woes.

You see, Toby does seem to care for Yvonne, but at the same time, he’s clearly putting work ahead of her. In turn, he may be putting the Liars ahead of both Yvonne and work given that Rollins so closely tied to Ali. It feels almost like the Liars and the show’s longtime romantic pairings are magnets, and over time this season we are seeing characters being pushed closer and closer together.

Could further answers await us Tuesday night? Maybe, but go ahead and consider this a slow burn since there is so much time to go still this summer. There are six more episodes beyond this one, and then the entire second half of the season. some key revelations are coming, but they may not be directly around the bend.
