‘Big Brother 18’ live feed spoilers: In which we come to bury Frank
We remembered Frank fairly fondly as a character during “Big Brother 14.” Was he a good player? Not really; as a matter of fact, the only reason he made it to jury was because of the twist that sent the coaches into the game. If he wasn’t such a competition beast, he would have been gone long before that. There was at one point a thought to get rid of him the very first week after Jodi.
Yet, we feel like he made it onto “Big Brother 18” because he was an interesting character, an underdog with a fighting spirit who had some funny lines like “wish I had two of these jokers” and also a good relationship with Boogie. He had some unseemly qualities, but the good wasn’t really overshadowed by the bad.
Well, on “Big Brother 18” we’re seeing what happens when Frank is out in front, and let’s just say that some truer colors are starting to show when he’s cocky. The guy’s a tool, and more than that, he may be the show’s resident Mr. Sexual Harassment based on what happened last night. While we didn’t see it on-camera, it definitely seems like Frank slapped Da’Vonne on the rear end at one point during the night, causing her to understandably act out and claim that she was about to hit him in the face.
What are the ramifications of this? While we would have been more than fine if Big Brother punished him in some way (hey, Willie got expelled for not really doing much worse in season 14), we do think this will be a situation where Frank’s actions will lead to some punishment soon enough in the game. What actions like this and hitting Nicole on the arm (it may be playful in his mind, much like what he is doing to Da’Vonne may be, but they don’t like it and he needs to be aware of that) do is galvanize the rest of the house against him. If he wasn’t safe because of Bridgette’s Head of Household win, he’d almost surely be going home.
We’ll be back later to see if anything unfolds from all of this a little later in the day.
