‘Big Brother 18’ live feed spoilers: Paul’s morning monologue

Paul -Is it weird to say that we’re somewhat turning our opinion around on Paul on this season of “Big Brother“? Sure, he may be brash, at times gullible, and even annoying, but there’s something raw and interesting about him that you don’t get from anyone else this season. He values his relationships in an interesting way, he struggles with the ethics of the game, and he does care enough about the live feeders to let us know what’s on his mind.

We appreciate people who did what he did this morning, as he took some coffee and went into a room to chat with us about life, the universe, and everything. There aren’t many houseguests to wake up to sometimes, and this is something that Boogie did a lot in season 14 that we liked. We didn’t really get a lot of insight into his game, but we did get an understanding of why he was happy to be there and disconnected from technology, something that is both a blessing and a curse.

Paul has done about everything that he can this week to improve his position, mostly in that he’s done what the people in power want and not really worked to help the sinking ship that is Victor. Almost everyone is now targeting Frank going into this coming week, while Frank in turn is targeting Tiffany. The best thing he can probably do is lay low for a week or two, even if that means being a pawn again, before a couple of threats are taken out. Then, consider start making a move.

The best thing Paul has going for him is that there are a lot of people in the house that like him, so he just needs to cultivate that. It’s the opposite of someone like Bridgette, whose attempts to be liked are so transparent and based mostly on cookies. (Michelle, who hates her, seems eager to call most of that out.)

We’ll look more at the overall state of the house later today, prior to the next eviction show at this link. Also, sign up over here to secure some other TV news on all we cover, sent right over to you via our official CarterMatt Newsletter. (Photo: CBS.)
