‘The Bachelorette’ spotlight: Will Vinny Ventiera put a spin on JoJo Fletcher’s season?
As we get closer and closer to the premiere of “The Bachelorette” Monday, we’re certainly getting many more visual aids to give us further insight into JoJo Fletcher’s season and her guys. For Vinny Ventiera, it unfortunately includes the sneak peek below of him, obviously inebriated, trying to have an uncomfortable conversation with him.
Before we go any further, let’s be fair with Vinny: It’s hard being on this show the first night. There’s a lot of booze handed out, food is a little more scarce, and it lasts for a long time. You’re also really nervous about meeting the Bachelorette, and you’re also on-camera in this way for the first time. Basically, you really need to be aware of all of this before you go on the show, and we’re not sure he was.
Without further ado, let’s try to figure out if he can overcome this.
Name – Vinny Ventiera
Age – 28
Occupation – Barber … but we’ve also seen online that he does some DJ work here and there. We’re not sure that he will be around long enough for either one of these talents to show themselves, but hey, he’s got them!
Location – Delray Beach, Florida. It’s in between West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale, where a shocking number of contestants are from this season. It feels like someone in casting really just liked hanging out in Florida this season!
Pros – He seems like a super-social guy, and someone who likes to travel, hang out with friends, and have a relaxing, fun life. There won’t be too much drama with him, aside apparently from having too much to drink occasionally. He also loves to cook Italian food, which we imagine has to be a major plus.
Overall, he’s got a uniqueness about him, and he’s edgy in a way few others are this season.
Cons – Obviously, what happens in this sneak peek is a huge negative, since it’s not an impression you want to set on the first night. He’s also someone still chasing a dream in some ways, and JoJo may want someone a little more settled.
Most likely to… Apologize on several occasions for the first night every night the rest of the time he stays.
Final assessment – Sadly, we don’t think it’ll be for long. There are too many other candidates out there, and Vinny seems destined to be quickly forgotten.
