‘Big Brother Canada 4’ review: Was Cassandra Shahinfar or Joel Lefevre evicted?
Did tonight’s “Big Brother Canada” episode give us one of the more shocking evictions in the show’s history? We’re not sure that we would rank it #1, but it may be one of the biggest turnarounds we’ve seen since Godfrey stayed over Jordan last year.
We assumed that Cassandra was done for when she was on the block, which of course bummed us out with her being our preseason pick to win. Yet, she found a way out of it! She made some great moves thanks to her pleas with Kelsey and the brothers, but what the show really did not show was Joel’s pretty epic collapse, including a house meeting where he dug himself a deep grave to the point where it was pretty well decided he was going.
The best part of Joel’s exit was that he really didn’t seem to care whatsoever about winning people over, and opted instead to expose Kelsey and the brothers. Hey, it’s entertaining for us, so we’re really not going to be upset in the slightest.
While we saw the start of the Head of Household Competition on the show, it was (ugh) for some reason not completed. Luckily, this is what live feeds are for! We’ll be back soon with who ended up coming out on top.
Also tonight, we learned that Canada will have a place on the jury, which will probably only make us upset if it’s a tie vote and they end up breaking the tie based on an edited TV show. We figured we’ll have a chance to complain about that in due time, so there’s no point in doing so now. This episode was decent overall, but tainted slightly by the HoH move that we’ve never particularly loved. Grade: B-.
