‘Reign’ season 3, episode 12 preview: What’s next for Adelaide Kane, cast in ‘No Way Out’
After months off the air, “Reign” season 3 returned to The CW on Monday with new episodes. This was a chance to learn a thing or two more about the progression of Mary’s story, and also whether or not a certain coronation happened in the way in which she planned.
So where is the story going to go from here on The CW? We’re moving next week into “No Way Out,” an installment that is going to feature allegiances, problems from the past, and a wide array of other issues. The synopsis below offers up some other news in terms of what you can expect to see:
“Mary (Adelaide Kane) might have to sacrifice her cousin’s life to save her own, as she and Gideon (Ben Geurens) find themselves in unchartered emotional territory. Catherine’s (Megan Follows) past returns to haunt her, while Lola (Anna Popplewell) and Elizabeth (Rachel Skarsten) become unlikely allies.”
As for the promo below, it does a really fantastic job of spelling out some of the conflict that is going to be transpiring for all of the characters across the board. Mary’s going to be in a position where she may have to allow someone else to die in order to secure her own safety, so this could lead in turn to one of the biggest moral dilemmas we’ve seen from her over the course of the season to date. Let’s just hope that this proves to be every bit as dramatic as it seems.
