Finale Forecast: How could ‘Faking It’ season 3 comes to a close?
So far, the third season of “Faking It” has really been defined by discord between some of the characters. At the start of the season Amy and Karma were at serious odds over the way in which the former left for the summer, but sense that time the two have gotten a little bit of closer. Meanwhile, we’ve also seen Lauren still work on finding herself, and in the process learn a thing or two more on the subject of how Liam is discovering his Jewish heritage.
So how will the entire season end? That’s something we are excited to get into more now in this latest edition of our Finale Forecast series here at CarterMatt.
What could happen – We imagine that this show would continue to be a game of inches in many ways. By that, we mean that Amy and Karma will probably be a little bit closer to getting together on some sort of deeper level, but it may not happen at the speed in which people would want to see it happen. Meanwhile, Liam could become a little more secure with his family history, Shane could have a new love interest, and maybe Lauren is going to be more okay with sharing her story on a personal level than she has been so far.
What should happen – Ultimately, what we would like to see if the show take a few bigger moves here when it comes to its central relationship, and actually see Amy and Karma actually admit to some sort of feelings for each other. Maybe it’s a little soon, but we don’t want to wait until the end of the series to see what they would look like in a relationship. We really just want to see the show shake up its formula somewhat, which seems to be 1) introduce a love interest, 2) have the love interest date a character for a while, and 3) the relationship ends because of someone having feelings for another love interest. Also, we’d like to see a major move forward in the future for one of these characters that does not involve romance.
