‘Girl Meets World’ season 3: A small production update

For all of you out there currently wondering about the order of things on “Girl Meets World” season 3, we come bearing a status report. Filming is happening this week, and it seems as though the cast and crew are at least reasonably far along.

In a post on Twitter, August Maturo (through his mother, who operates his social media) shared a picture from filming the recent episode “Girl Meets True Maya,” which is according to the writers’ room going to be the seventh installment filmed over the course of the season. (Granted, remember here that this is not necessarily when the episode is going to air, given that the Disney Channel has a real knack more often than not for airing things out of order.)

At this point, we’d be just throwing around random idea in the air if we were to speculate about what this episode is about, but we definitely hope that it’s going to be one that continues along the whole “season of feelings” theme that seems to be ahead. Most of our main characters are going to be in high school now, and of course with that does come more change and adaptation. It’s something that they have to be prepared for, since it is a part of life and it will define who they are as people both now and in the future.

Of course, we’ll have some further “Girl Meets World” news as it comes out; be on the lookout!
