NBC’s Grimm’ season 5, episode 15 preview: A dark side to the fountain of youth

While we’ve touched on many larger mythologies as of late when it comes to “Grimm,” we’re almost rather glad that the next new episode entitled “Skin Deep” is going to have a great monster-of-the-week component to it. These are the sorts of things that can grab more casual viewers, and the idea of horrific fountain of youth could make for a great investigation.

Also, the way that the guy’s mouth opens up in the promo below is really creepy. For some reason, this is the sort of thing that always tends to get us.

Want to get a little more news all about some of the other stories? Then have no fear, as the synopsis below provides a little bit of that:

“When Nick (David Giuntoli) and Hank (Russell Hornsby) come across a beautiful young woman who seems to have aged 70 years overnight and died, they suspect Wesen involvement. The investigation leads to a local doctor and Rosalee (Bree Turner) is enlisted to help find the truth. Meanwhile, Eve (Bitsie Tulloch) takes bold steps to learn more about Capt. Renard’s (Sasha Roiz) nefarious dealings.”

We imagine that there will be some progression in some of those longer stories in this episode, especially as Eve continues to work some of her own brand of magic and learns a thing or two. However, the reality is such: There’s a lot of time left this season. Specifically, we’re talking along the lines of another seven episodes after next week’s is concluded, so there’s really no hurry at all.
