‘Fuller House’ renewed for season 2 by Netflix
In many ways, a renewal for “Fuller House” was inevitable — and now it’s finally here.
Today, Netflix announced in the video below that the show, which debuted late last week to mixed reviews, will be returning with new episodes presumably next year. Given all of the buzz surrounding the series, it’s fairly easy to figure out why that would be the case. The show stars Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, and Andrea Barber, with some of the original male cast members turning up here and there for small appearances.
Do we presume that anything major will change for the second season? Not really, and mostly because this is a show that always followed a specific pattern the first time around. We hope that we’re going to get an opportunity to see maybe a little more of Bob Saget in particular, given that his role was relatively limited the first time around. As for the Olsen Twins, we know that there are a ton of people out there who want to see them back … but is it really going to be worth it? That’s something that we’re still struggling to wrap our head around. At this point, this is almost one of those situations where there is almost no way that the show can match the level of hype that it already has.
We imagine that we’ll have some more news on the future of “Fuller House” in the future, so for now we simply hope that you’re enjoying the opportunity to dive into the show if you’re not through with season 1 just yet.
