‘Shameless’ season 6, episode 7 preview: Will Emmy Rossum’s Fiona move in with Sean?

Fiona’s love life has more or less been a vocal point on “Shameless” from start to finish, primarily in that we’ve seen her contemplate futures with a variety of people in between Jimmy / Steve (the favorite of many out there), Gus, and of course a current frontrunner in Dermot Mulroney’s Sean. He obviously cares for her, and he’s a little bit more of a grounded presence than some other people who have been in her life over time.

Does that make him particularly exciting? Far from it. Chaos has been the name of the game for quite some time for Emmy Rossum’s character, and we definitely know that there are plenty of people out there who find this guy a little too boring to want to really root for him.

This sneak peek below is fairly simple when it comes to premise: Rather than sit around and watch Frank play tonsil hockey, Sean asks Fiona if she wants to move in with him, and she seems game! What makes this all the funnier is that if she does so she will be moving out of a house that is technically in her name.

We’ll be back fairly soon with some more from this episode and the rest of the season; for now, let’s just say that we don’t blame Fiona for wanting to get away from some of the madness of the Gallagher house.We just have to question how long it will last given her trajectory so far.
