‘Mistresses’ season 4 spoilers: Alyssa Milano not returning as regular; Tabrett Bethell scores larger role

For the time being, it appears that the upcoming fourth season of “Mistresses” is still missing one of its key components.

According to a report coming in from TVLine, Alyssa Milano is not going to be making a return as Savi … at least as a series regular. She had departed the show after season 2, citing a desire to not uproot her young family from Los Angeles to the new filming location of Vancouver. The show is coming back to L.A. for the fourth season, but at most she could return as a guest star and that has not even been confirmed just yet.

What we do know is that Tabrett Bethell is going to have a far more significant role than she ever had before! After appearing during the second season as Harry’s sister Kate, she is now returning for season 4 as a series regular. Kate will be moving to the area in search of love and other things, and while there will be some tension between her and some other characters (Harry and Joss certainly have had their fair share of ups and downs), eventually she will find her way into the social circle of Joss, Karen, and April. Jennifer Esposito’s Calista Raines was apparently always meant to be a one-season character.

The fourth season of “Mistresses” is slated to premiere on ABC at some point this summer, and you better believe that as soon as there is some more news out there about the show, we’re going to have it for you here.
