‘Suits’ season 5 spoilers: Could someone turn on the rest of the firm?
There have been two different strategies brought up since the beginning of “Suits” season 5B when it comes to how to handle the onslaught of attacks from Anita Gibbs and the U.S. Attorney’s office: Team up as a strong unit, or basically go into “every man for themselves” mode.
During the first couple of episodes this winter, it was easier for some of these characters at Pearson Specter Litt to support Mike Ross, since not all of them were necessarily under the microscope. The further and further we’re getting to this season, the more that is going to change. One example of this could come during “Tick Dock,” the upcoming episode of the show airing on February 24. The synopsis below does a very nice job of offering up precisely what sort of story you can expect to see unfold here:
“Louis mulls over Anita Gibbs’ offer to turn on his compatriots in exchange for immunity. Meanwhile, Harvey and Mike look to a new, last-ditch strategy to win the case.”
It of course makes sense that it would be Louis Litt who gets presented with such an offer, mostly because he’s the sort of guy who does have this underbelly where he would consider throwing people under the bus. We think that he’ll strongly consider it for the sake of his career, especially if Sheila is still around. With that being said, we do think that there is a big heart underneath all of the bravado that he throws out into the world, and with that we’re fairly confident he will do the right thing when the dust settles.
