‘Survivor Cambodia: Second Chance’ finale preview: Could we have a tie vote, or another surprise?

Survivor -Is CBS pranking us with the promo for the “Survivor Cambodia: Second Chance” finale? We hope not, since the idea of something happening that we’ve never seen before during it would be fascinating.

In the preview that aired after the episode Wednesday, Jeff Probst teased that there could be something happening that we haven’t seen in 30 seasons so far. What could it be? We’ve all been curious to know just what the producers and Jeff Probst have in mind, though our feeling here is that they would have the person in third place cast the deciding vote before leaving final tribal council. After that, the game becomes tainted. This for now has to be the best guess, or at least the one that makes the most sense.

One other thing that does have us very intrigued in what lies ahead is starting the finale with six people. That is, pending an injury somewhere, cramming three tribal councils plus the final one into two hours, and then also giving you three immunity challenges. Maybe the show just felt that the best footage was before this, or that they’ve got a unique way to make it work.

The saddest thing to report at the moment is merely that there is only one more week of this glorious season left. We’re not sure any of our preseason hype could have matched what it’s turned out to be, even though the last two vote-offs have been a little more predictable than some of the others.
