‘Sherlock: The Abominable Bride’ star Benedict Cumberbatch messes around with Johnny Depp, Graham Norton
Benedict Cumberbatch always seems to have something on the go when it comes to promotion. The “Sherlock” star does a variety of film and theater roles, and he of course will be returning to New Year’s Day for the special subtitled “The Abominable Bride.”
With promotions often come talk-show appearances, and his presence on “The Graham Norton Show” recently made for quite a bit of entertainment! As you can see in the video HERE, Cumberbatch confronted head-on what is apparently one of the most noteworthy memes out there: The fact that there are apparently a wide array of otters out there who resemble him in appearance in one way or another. Norton showed him a variety of different otter faces that compare to his own, and this it all finished with him bringing in fellow guest Johnny Depp for help recreating the final one. Kudos to Depp for being rather gamble for doing this.
As Cumberbatch noted, this could secretly be testing for his next role as an otter, though we will have to wait and see on that. (We’re joking; it’s probably not going to happen.)
What we’ll tell you for now is that new episodes of “Sherlock” are going to be in production in Britain at some point next year, and hopefully out of that will come more great faces and chances to compare the man to other wild animals. So long as we’re getting more of the show, that is what we care about first and foremost.
