‘Agent Carter’ season 2 video: Latest promo highlights the fun

January 5 is going to be a key night for ABC with the return of “Agent Carter,” and judging the first promo that was released by the network of the show, it certainly seems like we’re going to be in for quite the good time!

Sure, this promo is probably not a completely-accurate representation of the show, given that you’re not going to see Hayley Atwell in either humorous moments or kicking butt every single frame. This show is mostly still a drama, after all! With that said, there will still be many tremendous moments where you see her taking on bad guys and proving what she’s capable of in an entirely new setting: Los Angeles.

The show is making a wide array of changes for season 2 versus season 1, but we’re fine with that provided that we still have a compelling story. While we are locked in to a certain degree by the timeline of future events in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we feel like there’s enough of a blindspot here (not the one with Jaimie Alexander, ironically another Marvel favorite) that the show can cultivate some cool stories that just haven’t been discussed yet in the present. This is one of those shows that probably would appeal to a number of people who aren’t comic-book fans, but they just haven’t taken a chance to check it out just yet. Hopefully, this is something that will change in the future.
