‘The Good Wife’ season 7 spoilers: Could Alicia get caught in Eli’s crosshairs

Good Wife -So far on “The Good Wife” season 7, we have seen repeated examples of Eli stirring the pot right in the middle of Peter’s campaign. That includes attempts of sabotage geared towards his campaign manager Ruth, and then there is that whole cooking-show disaster between Alicia and her mother that was entertaining for us to watch, but probably not so entertaining for the characters involved.

So what is one of his latest exploits? You are going to find out in the November 8 episode entitled “Lies,” which features a variety of guest stars and also the latest case for Alicia and Lucca to go along with Eli’s exploits. Take a look at the synopsis below:

“Alicia and Lucca defend a client who was fired from a technology firm for failing a polygraph test. Also, Eli plots to leak something that would damage Peter’s presidential campaign but could inadvertently hurt Alicia, on THE GOOD WIFE, Sunday, Nov. 8 (9:30-10:30 PM, ET/9:00-10:00 PM, PT) on the CBS Television Network. Christine Lahti guest stars as the technology firm’s attorney, Andrea Stevens, and Dominic Chianese appears as Judge Michael Marx.”

By the time we make it to the end of this episode, hopefully we’ll get a sense just what is going to be coming with Eli and also Peter’s campaign. We don’t really get the sense that he is going to stop his Presidential run anytime soon, or at least until the Vice-Presidential nominee is chosen since that seems to be his real goal in all of this. (We hope that this is the reason why some of the Republican and Democratic nominees who have no chance of winning in reality are still in the race.)
