‘Girl Meets World’ season 2, episode 17 preview: Rileytown and then ‘Girl Meets Texas’

On Friday, you’re going to get a chance to see an episode of “Girl Meets World” that is talking about secrets, and for the most part, we feel like this is one of the most ambiguous ones that the show has presented to us. We don’t know what exactly Riley is hiding in “Girl Meets Rileytown,” but it is obviously something personal to her … and Rileytown is probably involved in that somewhat. Maybe it is a concept that she has come up with, and if so, she’s in the same corner of almost every single other teenager out there with an idea.

Now that we’ve got a chance to talk a little about that, let’s preview another big event coming up on the show: “Girl Meets Texas.” The promo below is all about the special, which is going to air in three parts over the course of a weekend next month.

The story of this special seems fairly clear: A chance for Riley to visit the land that Lucas comes from, and there is no fish-out-of-water situation quite like this for her. She’s going from the busy streets of New York to potentially open pastures. While a good 95% of Texas does not involve the rodeo or the Wild West, this is probably going to be the focus.
