‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: Is everyone on to Vanessa?
For the past few days, we have assumed that Vanessa is in the driver’s seat at this point on “Big Brother 17,” being that she was able to for the most part plan and anticipate almost every move being made by the rest of the house. In turn, we are going to be likely left soon with a final five that includes herself, Julia, Austin, Johnny Mac, and Steve.
However, is everyone else waking up and starting to smell the coffee? It is at least starting to feel that way based on some of the discussions that we’ve seen. Namely, we’re talking about Steve knowing full well that she is up to something with whoever remains from the twins, and even Julia and Liz last night proclaiming that they can’t trust her. This is a very different sort of situation than the one that we saw with Derrick last year, where almost no one thought of him as someone who was going to do them a great deal of wrong.
However, the genius still of Vanessa’s game at the moment is that even though she has little trust among the remaining players, she is there out of necessity. For example, for Julia it’s probably still better to have her than people like Steve and Johnny Mac that she knows are against her. Meanwhile, Steve and John likely realize something similar with her. This is why she has such an easy road right now to at least the final four, if not the final three; the challenge for Vanessa is going to be getting someone who wants to take her to the end, and then having a jury that is not entirely bitter against her since she didn’t really make many of them feel good about themselves on the way out.
Other than suspicions last night and some useless running of scenarios, it was a mostly quiet night and some people went to bed early. This is probably the pattern of the next couple of days.
