‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: Liz and Julia’s twin dilemma
At this point on “Big Brother 17,” tough decisions have to be made. Not only do players have to figure out who they want to evict, but they also must figure out how they do so. Jury management is key, and we know that there are many people over there who are extremely bitter … especially towards Vanessa, based on what we know right now. Some people like Meg and James seem to be recognizing Austin’s game as great even more so than hers. Shocking, we know.
For Liz and Julia, they position is incredibly unique since while they are two separate players in the game, they have to think almost as one given they are planning to split the money that they receive at the end. (Yes, it’s not technically allowed, but it’s hard to really stop two twins from doing this.) They both agree that Liz has a much better chance of winning if she makes it there thanks to competition prowess and a better social game, but she also is more likely to be picked off before then. Julia, meanwhile, is more likely to finish in second place and get some money as a result of that.
If we were the twins, we’d say that the gamble with Liz is worth it more than settling for $50,000 potentially at the end. We don’t really think that John or Steve would pick Julia at the end regardless, and she’s be reliant more on Vanessa or Austin. You’re also increasing your winnings tenfold, and there are only six players left. If Liz can win the next Head of Household or the Veto, then she’s in the final four. That’s huge! Austin is also probably likely to go home before her.
Ultimately, we’re interested to see whether or Vanessa tries to influence this decision, given that it is better for her if Julia stays. It’s a person she feels she can beat, and someone who probably trusts her more than Austin.
