‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: Steve’s pecking order and Veto speculation
We’re at the point in “Big Brother 17” where it is hard for there to be anything exciting taking place. You only have six people left, and they are divided into two separate groups: Austwins, and the never-named three-person alliance between Vanessa, John, and Steve. Vanessa kind of floats between the two, but there’s no doubting where she stands at the moment.
Steve has Austin and Liz up on the block going into today’s Veto Competition, and through some of his own monologue last night,w e did get a sense of one thing in particular: What is going to happen in the crazy event that Julia ends up winning the Veto and then using it on her sister. We get the sense more definitively that he would nominate Vanessa, betraying her but keeping her final two deal with John intact. This would at least signify really the one thing that has been wrong with Vanessa’s game: She’s never been as “alone” as she would like to profess, but she is everyone’s third option and nobody’s second.
So what could the Veto be? We really haven’t had anything with crazy punishments ever since Shelli had to do the knight routine, so we’re curious over that … especially since we don’t think that Julia would necessarily sacrifice her game to take chum baths or do some of those things. Meanwhile, we also haven’t seen a stay-or-fold competition, but we honestly hope those are gone because they are so easy to manipulate.
As for a host, this is the sort of time where a former winner does tend to show up. Maybe we get Derrick introducing a competition at some point before the finale.
