‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: The (predictable) Veto Ceremony results
It’s hard to really surprise anyone at a “Big Brother” Veto Meeting. It’s not good gameplay to for the most part once you get to the jury phase. The last thing that you want to do is send someone over to the jury house angry, or feeling like you were out to deliberately embarrass them in some way.
This is why prior to the Veto Ceremony taking place, Vanessa as Head of Household made it clear what was going to happen: After James used the Veto on himself, she was going to put Julia up as a pawn against Meg. With this, she would ensure that both Austin and Liz voted to keep Julia, and then she would just need either Steve or Johnny Mac to keep their promise for Meg’s eviction to go through.
Is there a chance that Meg could stay? Sure. She’s already got James’ vote, and she would just need Steve and Johnny Mac to jump over in order to ensure that the move happened. We actually think it wouldn’t be a terrible move for the two guys to try something like this. Let’s map it out like this: If Julia is sent home this week, their new four-person alliance of Steve, John, Meg, and James would just need to beat Austin and Liz in a Head of Household Competition. If they evicted either one of those two or Vanessa, that means that they would once again hold a 4-2 majority in the next challenge.
Also, wouldn’t you want if you were Steve and John to be in a final four against someone like Meg, who hasn’t won a single competition, and a guy like James who is only really good at the physical ones?
