‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: Did the Veto winner change the whole week?
These are the moments that all “Big Brother” fans really should live for. Even if you’re not a fan of this person or that person, it’s always fun when something happens that causes a complete change of thinking for someone in power.
Today, this change happened when James managed to score the Veto in what seems to be a competition all about them having to search for a Veto in the house. Maybe this is something where the producers went in, hid the Veto, and then just sent the houseguests back in on a mission. Given some of James’ shenanigans this season, it’s not a surprise to use that he emerged on top and can now change the script for the entire week.
After all, Vanessa now has a huge decision to make as Head of Household. Probably the funniest visual is the one of most of the houseguests scampering around to clean up the house while Vanessa went to the HoH room and cried over her misfortune. She now has to figure out whether or not to turn Johnny Mac / Steve already, or make a big play against Austin and the twins.
The benefit to going after Steve or John is that if she does so, she probably does not make any huge enemies for the time being. However, at the same time she runs the risk of ticking off whoever ends up staying among the two, and then she is really in a situation where she has no true ally. That helps her short-term game the most, but probably hurts her in the long-term without a clear path to the end.
However, targeting Austin or one of the twins (or possibly using Julia as a pawn against Meg) could make an enemy out of them, but at the same time she keeps a final three alliance. If they can win the right competitions and stay safe, they will make it pretty far and she’ll be in a position where she just needs to win the final Head of Household.
Ultimately, the next 36 hours or so should be very interesting.

I hope James doesn’t take Meg off the block.
