‘The Last Ship’ season 2, episode 10 preview: ‘Friendly Fire’ and a surprising murder
There are only four episodes left now on “The Last Ship” season 2, and this means that this is the time where the story is going to accelerate, and there will be even more when it comes to surprises and dangerous situations. The fact that next week’s episode “Friendly Fire” focuses on a murder investigation on the ship is something that could change the entire game.
Just in case you have not the heard the synopsis about this episode, take a look at it below:
“Rachel is hard at work on a new, more efficient version of the cure while Alisha decodes a message found on a cell phone recovered from the Immunes on land. A suspicious death on the ship forces Chandler to launch a murder investigation, causing dissent among the crew and threatening to upset good order and discipline. Armed with new information provided by Michener, Nathan James heads to New Orleans, only to find that the Immunes have a terrifying surprise in store for them there.”
Did you really think that the Immunes were going to be done with this story, given what happened prying Michener out of that compound? Their story still has a ways to go, and the same seems to go for Rachel and the cure given that this is the story that never seems to really be going away on this show. The cure is one of those things that they may feel necessary to keep at arm’s length, mostly because not having it is that extra source of drama.
