‘Hannibal’ season 3, episode 8 preview: ‘The Great Red Dragon,’ the Tooth Fairy arrive

Hannibal -Tonight’s “Hannibal” episode was probably the most disturbing sort of magic that there possibly can be. It was a story about revenge, redemption, letting go, and so many other things. Will Graham now has the hope for a peaceful and more ordinary life, while Hannibal Lecter is now finally under lock and key.

Will it stay that way? Next week begins the Red Dragon portion of our program, and we are leaping ahead many years to the start of that story. Hannibal will continue to be behind bars at that time, but we are going to have a new killer to worry about in Francis Dolarhyde. He will be a huge part of the story moving forward, and this could be a big reason why Hannibal is suddenly important to the lives of some of our characters once again.

You can see the synopsis for this episode right away below:

“Dr. Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen) has been under lock and key for three years at the Baltimore State Hospital for the Criminally Insane, when a new villain arises in Francis Dolarhyde (guest star Richard Armitage), also known as “The Tooth Fairy.” As the investigation unfolds Jack Crawford (Laurence Fishburne) approaches Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) to help catch this vicious serial killer who is targeting families.”

There are a wide array of things to look forward to and expect in this episode, but one of the biggest ones is merely seeing how Will is going to adjust to a new world, which could include having a new relationship and constructing his memory palace with lovely, non-garish things. Will he be able to adapt?
