‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 6 spoilers: More on prom episode ‘Last Dance’

Prom is a special time in the lives for many young people. However, on “Pretty Little Liars” this really just marks another opportunity for our leading ladies to have to deal with some trouble. Charles is still out to get them, and this is one of those opportunities for the show to actually see the Liars in a somewhat-vulnerable state. We’re not sure that Aria, Emily, Hanna, Spencer, or Ali will ever truly let their guard down again, this does mark a great chance to see what happens when the five of them actually make some sort of attempt … at least before some evil enters the picture.

Yesterday, we shared a photo from the prom episode airing August 4 entitled “Last Dance”; now, take a look at the attached synopsis for some other news to go along with it:

“It is prom time at Rosewood High, except for Alison, Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer who have been banned due to “security” concerns. As the girls see this as the final humiliating blow to their high school careers, the girls’ mothers try to make the best of a bad situation by offering a home prom in Spencer’s barn. At first reluctant, the PLLs agree and try to make the best out of a bad situation. But one to never miss a formal, Charles has other plans in store to make this a night they will never forget. Meanwhile, Veronica, Pam, Ashley and Ella use prom night to touch base on everything that has happened to their daughters.”

We find the mothers coming together to really be a cool story here, mostly because this is not one that the show has done a whole lot of. Plus, it makes a whole lot of sense. Wouldn’t they want to try to protect their family if at all possible? Sharing information may be a better way to collectively help each other.
