‘Mistresses’ season 3 spoilers: ‘Odd Couples’ creates many unusual dynamics

When we saw a recent preview for the premiere of “Mistresses,” our initial thought was that clearly we were going to see plenty of tension and then some between newcomer Calista Raines (Jennifer Espotio) and Joss. However, by the time the third episode “Odd Couples” airs, could these two actually be friends? We’re not sure we would say that just yet, but they are at least working together in some capacity.

What makes this particular episode, which is going to air June 25 (a week removed from the two-hour premiere), so interesting is that we are going to get a chance to see some secrets revealed, and even have Toni back in the fold, proving that every person from Savi’s storylines is not going to be departing completely. Take a look at the just-released synopsis via ABC below:

“Karen receives a house call from Alec after her medical procedure proves to be more painful than expected. Paul’s past transgressions continue to haunt April. When the insurance company demands that she pay back the insurance settlement, April turns to Savi’s old nemesis Toni for legal counsel. Meanwhile, Marc helps her through the crisis by revealing a secret of his own. Will this secret scare her away or bring the duo closer together? Joss helps Calista out of a business bind, and a little distraction is exactly what she needs as she struggles with her feelings for Harry.”

Sound intriguing? We just thought that Joss’ feelings would be somewhat sorted out, based on what happened in the finale.
