‘The Bachelorette’ spoilers: Ian Thomson questions Kaitlyn Bristowe over Nick Viall

“The Bachelorette” has at times been a little bit lacking this season in the promo department. There have not been too many major scandals or shockers teased, other than maybe the big reveal that Nick Viall would be coming aboard in some form (which we technically first learned about at the start of the season).

So in the preview that aired after tonight’s episode, we did at least learn one thing new: Ian Thomson is not happy! We ultimately understand why. This is a guy who thought he probably was a contender for Kaitlyn Bristowe’s heart, only to later realize that she wanted to bring someone like Nick Viall on board. He is none too pleased.

So could this lead to him being yet another person eliminated by Kaitlyn outside a rose ceremony? It’s certainly possible. If nothing else, typically someone challenging the lead of the show doesn’t end well. They either depart at the person’s choosing, or they decide to pick up their suitcase and go home.

Of course, there was a ton of other stuff hyped in the promo, as well! For one, we had a chance to see some more romance, and a ton of other guys questioning whether or not Nick is there for anything other than fame, or continuing some sort of bizarre obsession that he has with the show. We haven’t gotten to see a whole lot of that yet, so we should just wait and see by the time we get to the end of the next episode what happens.
