‘Penny Dreadful’ season 2, episode 6 preview: First look at ‘Glorious Horrors’

Tonight’s new episode of “Penny Dreadful” contained a variety of surprises, with somewhere near the top of the list being Dorian potentially finding the perfect person for him, and some “development” with Malcolm and Evelyn (even thought that is not our favorite story on the show).

So where are we going to see the Showtime drama go from here? “Glorious Horrors” is the title for the next new episode, and as a whole we already firmly consider that to be a glorious title. There may be some beautiful moments throughout the night courtesy of a ball, but given the sort of show this us, most of that beauty could be torn asunder by the time we reach the very end of it. Take a look at the synopsis below to see a few basic details courtesy of the network:

“Vanessa and Ethan give Sir Malcolm tragic news; Lavinia Putney is disturbed by an encounter with the Creature; Roper hunts down Ethan; Dorian hosts a lavish ball in Angelique’s honor; a glorious night turns to horror for Vanessa.”

The official promo below should give you at least some more scoop about what lies ahead, and how rough / difficult some of it is going to be. Above all, there are quite a few reasons to be excited about the rest of the season. It is probably only going to build the rest of the way from here, and get even more shocking and twisted with just about every step.
