‘Homeland’ season 5 spoilers: New castings related to Claire Danes’ Carrie
As we get ever closer to the start of “Homeland” season 5 production, we are of course starting to hear more and more about some of the characters we are going to meet. Sometimes, this means new faces; in other ways, it merely means a chance to see some other characters in different forms.
For example, E! News reports that we are going to be seeing an older version of Carrie’s daughter, as the show is casting someone to play a three-year old version of Frannie. Does that mean that Carrie is actually going to be a little bit of a better mother figure this time around? If nothing else, it will definitely be easier for her to be one now than she has been in the past.
Also, the show is also going to be casting a new love interest for Claire Danes’ character, a lawyer who is also extremely intelligent and someone who will pose a challenge for her in so many different ways. Does this mean that it is time to let the air out of the tires for fans of her and Quinn? We wouldn’t go that far, but for the time being it is still fair to wonder whether or not their “romance” is destined to be, or simply a cause of circumstances.
Either way, we hope to have some further news related to “Homeland” soon, as the show will start filming for the new season next month in Germany. It should premiere on Showtime this fall.
