‘Arrow’ season 3, episode 20 podcast: Talking ‘The Fallen,’ Ra’s al Ghul, and more with Jessa
Can you believe that there are only three episodes remaining on “Arrow” this season? The story has gone by quickly, and it feels like it was only weeks ago that Oliver was still recovering from the attack by Slade Wilson.
This also means that we are getting near the end of the Arrow CarterMatt Podcast as well! Hopefully, we’re going to bring it down with a bang in its own way, given that this was one of our favorite podcasts to record of the entire season. Both of us (being Matt Carter and Jessa) had very different opinions on the episode “The Fallen.” One of us rather enjoyed it, and the other had a much more negative take on.
Therefore, we did something a little different in this episode. Rather than spending much of the hour discussing beat by beat things we liked and didn’t like, we instead spent more time focusing on how the show can move forward from this episode and still be successful. This was a way to find common ground even in a sea of disagreement. While this may be a polarizing episode, the thing to remember here is that there is still a plethora of time for things to change one way or another. The question is simply what the writers and producers decide to do as we start to wind season 3 down.
