‘Empire’ finale spoilers: On what to expect (in general terms)
While tomorrow night may not be the official finale for “Empire” on Fox, we do not come bearing an important reminder that this episode will be here before you know it. This means that right when you start to fully immerse yourself into the world, and then has to go and end for a while. Don’t you hate it when that happens?
We do at least have some general news right now in terms of how the series will wrap up, and the biggest thing that we can tell you at the moment is merely this: There will be quite a bit of craziness that unfolds over the course of the entire two episodes that make up the show tomorrow night, and we have a quote now from showrunner Ilene Chaiken to TVLine on the subject:
“A lot of the big questions that were raised in the pilot are not going to conclude — because nothing ever concludes in life — but there are going to be resolutions, big moves, decisions and stories that pay off. And in the course of that, everything is going to change. Everything will be poised at the end of the season to begin anew, with dynamics that are shifting and just as extravagant and flamboyant as they were in the beginning —maybe even more.”
What is mostly interesting to us at the moment is what the series plans to do going into the second season. For example, just how many episodes will there be? Also, will all the major characters stick around? This is somewhat of a fluid world, so we expect many things to shift over time.
