‘Survivor: Worlds Apart’ preview: Jenn Brown, Hali Ford try out surfing
While it is still far too early during this season of “Survivor” to really offer up too much of a verdict one way or another when it comes to gameplay, Hali and Jenn on the No Collar tribe are still proving something: They are very good when it comes to creating good TV moments.
In the preview video below from Wednesday night, these two decide to embrace part of their own lifestyle on the beach, and take on surfing on the coast of Nicaragua. They find some planks to use as boards, and then they go out there and make their best attempt at actually catching a few waves. All in all, it seems to go okay for them. Also, it seems like the tribe is a little more relaxed (for now) wince Vince eliminated from the game.
What we do wonder is this: Is it really the right move? It’s certainly more of a risky move, given that the waters of Nicaragua are notoriously rough, so much so that challenge producers have bailed on putting some competitions in there in the past. What if you get hurt? It’s almost the equivalent of the guy playing football who injures himself after kicking a field goal and celebrating. Maybe that’s a remote possibility, and maybe we’re also just a stick-in-the-mud. (Or, we’re jealous that we cannot surf.)
The more likely danger these two run into is being such an obvious pair. That can put a big target on your back, and even Joe may wonder at some point, even if it is not now, if they would team up to get rid of him if it suited them.

They’re both unlikeable.
