‘The Blacklist’ season 2, episode 14 preview: Megan Boone, James Spader in ‘T. Earl King VI’

We have seen many an interesting episode title on “The Blacklist” so far, but to us, there is no question that “T. Earl King VI” has to be one of the most interesting ones. You have a story that revolves for the most part around a mysterious family, and also potential someone from Reddington’s past at the same time. As if that wasn’t enough to have you intrigued, Tom Keen is definitely going to be up to something. For those of you disappointed with the character’s frequent disappearances this season, rest assured that he has a major role coming up in most of the stories ahead.

For some basic details, check out the attached synopsis:

“A former paramour involves Reddington (James Spader) in a deadly game with a wealthy, powerful family dynasty whose ill-begotten fortune was amassed from an underground auction of human and material contraband. Meanwhile, Tom (Ryan Eggold) takes on a new mission.”

One thing that is fairly interesting about this synopsis is that it is one of the few to actually mention Liz Keen, but don’t worry: Megan Boone will, as always, have a pretty substantial role. Other than Tom’s return, we don’t know how much from last week is going to carry over into this story, but in this case, we ultimately do not mind that much, since Tom returning opens up the door to many exciting possibilities moving forward.
