ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 7, episode 15 video: Nathan Fillion’s Rick gets violent
Just in case you were curious about when Richard Castle was going to let loose his dark side, the sneak peek below for Monday night’s “Castle” makes it pretty darn clear: We are going to be seeing that sooner rather than later as he searches for Jerry Tyson.
In the sneak peek below, Nathan Fillion’s character is far from the same charming mystery novelist that we’ve seen over the course of the series. Instead, he is violent, menacing, and demanding about the whereabouts of his wife Beckett (Stana Katic). Is Boudreau really Jerry Tyson? He insists that he is not while he being thrown around the room, and reminds Rick repeatedly that he is simply someone who Kelly Nieman designed to look like him. For the most part, his performance in pretty convincing, but not enough for a desperate man afraid of losing the love of his life. Is Castle really capable of killing someone? We’re not entirely sure, but if there was ever a reason that he would do it, family would be it.
Still, there is no ultimate motive for Rick to kill him, regardless of who he is. If this really is Jerry Tyson, killing him will cause him to lose Beckett forever. He doesn’t want to live with the possibility of that. Ultimately, he needs him in order to get the answers that he is so yearning to have.
This episode should conclude the 3XK saga for at least the time being. We’re not worried about Beckett’s fate, but you should be concerned about any other potential repercussions that could come out of this case.

Dammit my speakers aren’t working!! This looks awesome! I’ve been waiting for another “Badass Castle” episode for several years now. Nathan is going to rock this episode.

Episode 15 does not bother me because we all know (if you have seen or read all the news, spoilers and teasers) that Beckett and Castle will survive this episode and will be working together in episode 16. What does bother me, however, is the penultimate paragraph above. The threatened repercussions that will come out of episode 15 could be just as mundane and boring as the so called 3xk back story. I like action to occur more often than twice every 6 years. Same is true of the 2 month absence of Castle. Fifteen episodes after his disappearance some rememberance of his disappearance is supposed to occur in episode 15. Is this some (or all) of the repercussions? I would like for both of these back stories to end in this episode. I would like a new back story to start regarding the Caskett family hopes and plans for the future. This backstory could be touched on each and every episode (like the Caskett love story and marriage) and continue to move forward with interest for the duration of the series. Other continuing back stories could also be introduced as well but at least have one that is realistic and entertaining.
