‘Sherlock’ season 4: Benedict Cumberbatch’s interesting headline from Golden Globes
At the moment, Benedict Cumberbatch is one busy guy. He made an appearance on Sunday night at the Golden Globes, but in order to be there, he had to fly over pretty quickly from London. The actor is busy at the moment filming an upcoming “Sherlock” special, and flew over mere hours before walking the red carpet. he had to be exhausted, especially when you remember that by the time the Globes actually started, it was actually after midnight in the United Kingdom.
Maybe it was exhaustion that caused Cumberbatch to be so spontaneous at the awards show Sunday night. Or, maybe he just felt like being fun. Regardless, Benedict had one of the best moments on the awards show, and it is probably not getting the amount of attention that it deserves.
There was a pretty fantastic photo-bomb from Benedict, which you may have missed in a split second during this segment. After all, most of the attention was on Margaret Cho, who played the North Korean journalist featured in a prominent comedy bit with Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.
Cumberbatch has been known to have a fantastic sense of humor in these little moments, and this is one of the reasons behind his meteoric rise to fame. In some ways, he reminds us a little bit of Jon Hamm, at least in that he is a really capable actor for serious work, but then also knows at the same time how to draw laughs.
