‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 5 spoilers: Are Spencer, Emily, more going ‘Over a Barrel’?

When you are a member of the “Pretty Little Liars” family, one thing that you almost have to expect is that no matter where you go or where you turn, drama is probably going to find you.

Not only that, but you are going to have a mission. Many of the main characters will be busy either dealing with old problems on the upcoming January 20 episode entitled “Over a Barrel,” or trying to come to grips with new problems that could put them in (you guessed it) a dangerous position.

“Secrets are hard to keep, especially when you are keeping them from a loved one. Spencer searches for Mona’s missing laptop with Caleb’s help but where the search leads them could cross the “Toby approved” line. Aria tries to get up the courage to come clean to Ezra about her lie when she gets diverted by a possible goose chase. And Hanna is stuck in the middle having to cover Ashley’s secret when Pastor Ted returns with big news.

“Meanwhile, Emily has to put up with Talia’s annoying suggestions at work, as she struggles to come to terms with the end of her relationship with Paige.”

In a sneak peek that was already released for the January 6 winter premiere, we know already that Emily is going to be struggling mightily with the thought that Paige could no longer be a day-to-day presence in her life. This is not going to be a story or a problem that goes away for the character anytime soon, so it is definitely worth exploring further.
