‘American Horror Story: Freak Show’ video: Take another look behind the scenes
There is another episode of “American Horror Story: Freak Show” airing on FX Wednesday night, but before we come to that point, why not take a look at just how some of these colorful characters are dressed?
This is what the video below is all about, as many of the fine folks responsible for crafting this show behind the scenes explain how some of the costumes and even some of the props are constructed to give this show the best authentic experience possible. It’s a cool little video, and yet another great reminder about all of the work that goes into making this such a commercial success. While there are some choices here and there (mostly the music) that we feels brings the show into some bizarre time-machine universe, the costumes are one of the reasons why this really does feel of a particular era.
What is fun about Wednesday night’s winter finale is that it marks one of the first real opportunities this season to see the costumes shifted about ever so slightly, given that we are going to get a first real look at Lily Rabe’s Sister Mary Eunice. She comes from the grim world of “American Horror Story: Asylum,” so there is going to be some fun in watching these two separate universes clash in a way, leading to something super-interesting at the end.
We are going to have a whole lot more news on this episode coming before Wednesday, so be sure to stay on the lookout for some of that and then some!
