ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 4, episode 11 video: The Josh Bowman shocker analyzed further

We’re now a little over 12 hours removed from one of the most-shocking deaths in the history of “Revenge,” and it is fair now to wonder the following: Is the feeling over this any different?

We should start here by saying that we understand why so many out there feel upset that Daniel Grayson is gone from the show. The character and actor Josh Bowman had many fans, and he was an interesting, tricky character to pin down. He also died in some ways protecting Emily Thorne, even though they had been through so much when it comes to lies and deceit.

We’re say to see him go; still, we’re not going to stop watching over it. Daniel’s death is something that we expected to come at some point. At this point last year, there were comments in the media that insinuated that Bowman may want to see his character killed off; those comments were later explained off as misinterpretation, but ever since then, we wondered if Daniel was on borrowed time. Also, it felt almost like other than getting him with Emily again, there was nowhere to take the Daniel character any longer. There were problems with this during the season, which is probably why we spent so much time watching him gallivanting around with Louise.

The promo below teases that there will be a funeral for Daniel, and that his death may bring Margaux and Victoria closer together. Both have lost someone they loved, and that may be bad news for Emily. Meanwhile, it looks as though David Clarke is going to put a devious plan in action for Victoria now that he knows the truth about her. We cannot see her dying, though, given that we just lost one major character.
