‘The Originals’ season 2 spoilers: Joseph Morgan on Nina Dobrev crossover
Hopefully, at this point you have heard the good news if you are a fan of “The Originals“: Nina Dobrev is going to be crossing over on Monday night’s new episode of the show! This is a chance to learn more about Tatia, the originator in the Petrova line of doppelgangers. Her story greatly informs what we know about Klaus and Elijah, and in a way mirrors so much of what we saw on “The Vampire Diaries” for a long time with Stefan, Elena, and Damon.
So what can you expect when it comes to this overall episode as a whole right now? Speaking in a new interview with E! News, the man behind Klaus himself in Joseph Morgan expressed how excited he was to work with Dobrev, and also why this story is so important at this point in the “Originals” as a series:
“We’re really grateful to Nina for coming over to The Originals and for allowing us to finally tell that story … I think it needed to be told. It definitely had a huge impact on who the brothers are today and their family in general. Klaus and Elijah both were certainly interested and invested in Tatia because they both loved her. It’s absolutely going to give us more insight into their relationship because we’re going to see how that love changed their family and how it all played out. The story that they told back on The Vampire Diaries is not exactly what went down and now we’re going to find out what really happened.”
While we already know a little bit of what happened to these characters courtesy of some of those conversations that happened on “The Vampire Diaries,” isn’t it nice to fill in a few of the cracks here and there? We like to think so.
